Life, Life, Life!

I cant believe my senior year of high school is almost over! Its one of those things, that when you're a little kid, you think will never happen. I am pretty much done with all my high school studies and I am finishing up the two classes i'm taking at NSU...I'll be done with them the first week of May. I cant believe it! I keep saying that, but I really CAN'T believe it! I scheduled my classes for Fall 2008! My first semester as a full time college student. (Even though I will have completed 12 hours already in the dual enrollment program that have available for high school seniors) I willbe taking English, Science, Fine Arts, Sociology, Health Education, and Orientation for Journalism majors. All of which are some of my core classes for Broadcast Journalism ! I am also planning on minoring in Political Science. I will technically be a "demon" (that is NSU's mascot) and yess I wish we had another kind of mascot! I am soooo excited! I plan to be in the Phi Mu sorority and will possibly be taking the position as chairman of the NSU republicans. I still havent decided if with 16 hrs of classes, 2 jobs, and a sorority if I will have time to be chairman, though it is something I REALLY want to do and that would really benefit me in the future. ~ I decided to minor in Political Science, because it is something I love very much and also something that I feel I have something to contribute to. I cant wait to do all I can with my major and minor. I dont want to be a girl who gets her education and stays in the background. I want to help make a change, not a "Barrack Obama change" a REAL change. I want to use my education, my mind, my talents, and my Faith to truly make a difference in this city, in this state, and in this world. I am depending on God to help me through the clallenges that lay ahead. I refuse to sit by and watch our state and country keep falling. I dont believe that my own power will make a difference, but I do believe that with God's power we can do some amazing things! Ok I have rambled enough! Been a WHILE!

I know I know its been FOREVER! I am trying to finish up my senior year! The 2 classes at NSU and work are taking up ALL my time! It is just crazzzy! I am ready for summer! I got a new jon at the NSU WRAC...which is a gym. Its amazing! Its a 3 story gym and its got a fitness floor with treadmills, elipticals, bikes and other machines, a free weight room, massage therapist, steam rooms, a basketball gym, a walking track, all kinda of stuff! Its really a great job and my boss and co workers are amazing!! Between that and class and also working out, its hard to find time for much of anything else!! I did want to post a few pictures to update the last couple months!! I'll try to post again soooooon!! ~~The 5th pic is of my brother Sam...he is 16 and jsut got his eagle scout in boy scouts!!

So first off...I registered to VOTE!!! yayy!! Me and 2 of my friends went register! So there are now 3 new registered republican voters in the state of Louisiana!!

Now in other news!! Hope everyone had a GREAT christmas and a good time with family! We went to my grandparents house and had a good time!! I was sick Christmas Eve and Christmas day! :-( I woke up Christmas day with a 102 degree fever! so that meant I couldnt hold babies (well I did a little bit just didnt face them! hehe) and couldnt get too close to anyone! But other than that it was great!! I only took a few pictures! so here they are! OHH and i'm not sick anymore and i'm VERY excited to see erika this Saturday!! I have some picture taking to catch up on!! We're gonna have so much fun!

OK OK!So I think I waited long enough to post!! I have been soooo busy since school started! my two classes an NSU have kept me busy...and with everything else going on I barely find time to do anything! So its finally break time!! and its a VERY VERY needed break! I made two A's in my two classes at NSU so i'm veryyyy happy about that! I'm going to be taking 2 classes again in the fall! I only need one more math for my major so I am going to talk it next semester! I am also going to take political science! Which of course I am very excited about! During these last few busy months I have helped with two campaigns. One was for Gerald Long who ran for state senate and one was for Rick Nowlin who ran for state representative...and they both WON by the way!! We also have a new GREAT governor! Bobby Jindal!! I am very excited about how things are going to start to change in Louisiana!! It has been a great couple months and I am VERY much looking forward to Christmas and getting to see ALL my family!! After Christmas i'll post some pictures!!

hmm what have I been up to??

I am horrible at posting I know!!! well I have completed 2 weeks of school!! yayyy!! hah I am having so much fun with it all! college is alot of fun! I get to talk to people alot which is always fun and meet new people! I love it!! I hope it stays fun and doesnt get to hard! hehe! My friend kayla left for college a couple of weeks ago...that was SAD! but shes having alot of fun in Texas!! I helped my friend anastasia move into her apartment a few weeks ago! She is staying here in natchitoches and going to NSU but she moved out of her house into an on campus apartment!! I also went visit one of my other friends in lafayette she is going to ULL up there and has a condo right across from the campus! so we had alot of fun over there! we're growing up!! its kinda crazzzy! all going to college...me and my friend dana are not far behind...we are both seniors and both taking 2 courses at NSU...and loving it! we went to the football game saturday night and had sooo much fun! I cant say I love cheering for the demons but its ok!! hehe here are some pics of all of us!!

ah time for another post I guess! Everything has been pretty good lately! I cant believe the summer is OVER! ahh! school starts monday! I am taking U.S. History and college algebra at NSU...its crazzzy I went get my student i.d. the other day and it was then that I realized ahh! I called my mom and said "i'm a college student!" she was like omg! its crazzzzzy! I am ready to start that though! ready to get a move on! I will post more about how it goes...ya'll pray for me i'm kinda nervous!!! hope everyone has a good week!
